FOREST AND WILDLIFE TOUR

During this tour I will take you to the forests of Kyoto where I’ll teach you the fundamentals of animal tracking, observation & photography.

You’ll learn about how to move and approach wildlife, the different camera settings depending on your subject and light conditions, and much more.

We will be focussing on all kinds of wildlife, from deer to reptiles and amphibians, birds, flying- & wingless insects, etc..

Tours and pricing:

6 hours - 25.000¥

All prices are for the tour, not per person, maximum 3 people.

Payment in cash at the beginning of the tour.

Feel free to decide the start time of the tour, from 6:00am till 9:00am.

Required photography equipment:

DSLR or mirrorless camera system. (Any sensor format)

Telephoto prime or zoom lens with at least 400mm focal length. (35mm equivalent)

Normal zoom or prime lenses in the 24-70mm range. (For environmental shots)

Macro lens.

Photography backpack or easy carry system.

Monopod recommended.
